Hi, I’m Gareth. A portrait photographer based in Royston Hertfordshire and my passion is photographing people.

My journey into photography began in 2000 in high school after being introduced to the darkroom and film photography. This carried onto college and then university where I studied in Southampton. Studying in the mid-2000s meant that everything was film and darkroom. Developing with chemicals and falling in love with the whole process. Of course these days digital is king, but I know that learning through the analogue times gave me a foundation that has influenced my portraiture today.

Whether in the studio or on location, creating portraiture that captures the viewer is the aim.

I also love to photograph dogs and pets, and treating the process no differently than my human clients means I keep consistency in my work and can deliver striking photographs that will last generations.
