Hertfordshire Wedding Photographer

Hi, I’m Gareth, a wedding photographer based in Hertfordshire

Covering the whole of the UK, I have a firm belief that photography should be honest, natural and above all else a true record of your day.

You may have spent months, years or even since you were a child planning your big day. You’ve chosen the colours, the flowers, the dress, the food, the drink and everything else. All that’s left to do is walk down the aisle and have the day of your life.

Natural & Honest Photography

Great photography enables you to preserve everything just as you planned it. Whether you’re having your big day in Hertfordshire or beyond, photography captures details, moments and the smaller stories of your day. Maybe it’s the family members embracing or the friends dancing to belters in front of the band or that moment in the ceremony when you see your other half for the first time. These are some of the key moments you’ll want to remember forever.

You can read a little more about my background on my About page, and see how I got into photography.

A Fun and Relaxed Photography

Your photographs should tell a story. Your story. They should lead you back through that special day as if it were happening right in front of you.

By documenting the small moments as well as the big events, you’ll have photographs that will last forever.

If this sounds like you, get in touch and let’s talk

Are you getting married at one of the amazing Hertfordshire venues? Or are you going DIY?

Are you having a lot of guests or a select few?

Maybe you’re getting married at one of the amazing venues in and around Hertfordshire like South Farm. Maybe you’re keeping it low-key and intimate. Or maybe you’re travelling abroad. With my relaxed approach, you’ll feel at ease in the knowledge you won’t be asked to pose or create hearts with your hands.

Always relaxed, always chill.

So, How are the plans going? Hertfordshire has some truly talented and passionate suppliers, a lot of which I have had the pleasure to work with.

Building a team of suppliers to help you create the day you want is so important. I love it when I get to work with brides and grooms in and amongst the great flowers, decor and entertainment that Hertfordshire suppliers can bring.

Have you booked all of your suppliers yet?

How about a photographer? Getting in quickly is important as dates can go fast. Contact me to find out my availability. And if your date is free, let’s jump onto Zoom or even better grab a coffee to discuss where you’re at.

I look forward to hearing from you.

Hertfordshire Weddings & Why I Love Them

I get to work at some truly amazing venues.  Hertfordshire houses so many different types and styles of venues.  There are barns, farms, rustic venues, grand estate venues and small intimate venues.  With so much choice out there, you are bound to find the perfect spot for your taste.

Some examples of the great venue options Hertfordshire has to offer are South Farm, Milling Barn, The Barn at Alswick, Tewinbury Farm, Burloes Hall and many many more.

Your venue will become the backdrop to your photography.  And with so much choice in Hertfordshire, you can be sure your ceremony and party will be captured.

I also love to photograph further afield. I work in all the surrounding counties and love to explore new venues. Hardwick Moat was a personal favourite of mine.

Being able to find new and interesting areas for my brides and grooms to be photographed is easy when the backdrops are so varied.  Sometimes it’s the grand gardens at one of the stately homes.  Or it could be the crumbly rustic barns at one of the farm locations.  These spots are perfect for when I photograph your portraits.  Capturing you two alone gives you a chance to breathe after the ceremony and gather your thoughts before heading back into the celebrations.

Take a look at my portfolio here to get a flavour of how I work.
